Viewing or Visitation
A viewing or visitation is optional and typically takes place at the funeral home—with or without the casket present—and can be less formal than a traditional funeral service. It is appropriate for both burial and cremation related events.
Family and friends may gather, express grief, and provide support to one another. This is often the time to begin the healing process and grief experts have encouraged this time for families.
Each of us experiences the loss of a loved one differently, so there are different options for viewings and gatherings. Let us help you customize what will best suit you and your family. We offer public and private gatherings, washing / dressing ceremonies, and a simple quiet time to say goodbye.
