Torrance, California
Yvonne, a resident of Torrance for over 65 years, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Los Angeles in 1933. Soon after graduation from Catholic Girls High School, she met the love of her life: Hugh. In 1957 they settled in North Torrance, then downtown Torrance, and eventually West Torrance where they remained for forty years.
We will remember Yvonne for her love and devotion to family and her deep Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh, her son Christopher, and her brother Richard. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Bill), Michael, Paul (Janet), Mark, and Louise (Chuck), and her brother Robert. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Sean, Eileen, Ryan, Megan, Kevin, Evan, Julie, and Hugh; and six great grandchildren: James, Declan, Sadie, Ronan, Brayden, and Isaac.
We also wish to thank Sheva Lim for her selfless, loving care of our parents Yvonne and Hugh in the final years of their lives.
Yvonne’s funeral mass will be held at 10am at St. James Catholic Church at 415 Vincent St. in Redondo Beach on December 1st. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St Jude Children’s Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org

My condolences for the loss of your beloved mother. I remember your mother when you lived on engracia ave. It’s a great picture of her. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
I would like to send my condolences to the whole family in this time of sadness. I am a fellow peer from Catholic Girls High. I am sure she will be missed by all. Prayers for everyone!
