Yolanda J. Brannon-Wilson was born in Little Rock, AK on September 30, 1959. She was raised in the Compton/Carson area and graduated from Gardena High School in 1977 with academic and athletic honors. Her husband, Elbert "Ricky" Wilson, Jr, whom she met in High School, preceded her in death over a year ago. She was also preceded in death by her brother Rhys E. Brannon. She is survived by: mother, Alva J Brannon; father, McKinley K. Brannon; daughter, Carissa J. Wilson; brother and wife, Gregory and Gwen Brannon; sisters, Monique L. Brannon and McKina G. Alexander and husband David; nephews Gregory, II and Imani; and Neices, Nicole, Brelyn and Micaela. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Greater Berean Baptist Church , 12433 So. Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90061
