Dear Family: I did not know the Mr Purvis but I am also descended from the Haworth family line and would be very interested in corresponding with other family members who have an interest in the family line. All Haworths I have found so far have been in some way related. My Grandmother was Emily Haworth of Iowa. Sorry for your loss and I wish I had known of Mr Purvis before his death. My name is Gary Sapp, 13807 Manor Dr., Hawthorne, Ca 90250 (310) 679-6379. Thank You
We were very sad to read about Bill\’s passing. Our deep sympathy to Bill\’s family. We have known Bill for many years having our sailboat “Shandy” in the same basin in Marina del Rey for many years. We have really missed seeing him and visiting with him at Windjammer\’s Yacht Club (now Santa Monica Windjammer\’s). Tom & Linda PLaice
