Bill and I have played chess together for many years. He was always the gentleman and I will miss him.
Bill was a fine chess player. He was born in the US but grew up in Germany during WWII. He survived many challenges. Bill was an MP in the US Army and served in Japan. Later, he became an aerospace designer. Bill was very proud of his contributions in the development of the A6 Intruder. Bill did not always understand my silly jokes, but laughed anyway.
