  1. I had the great pleasure of meeting Mrs. Colvin in the hospital before she passed on. Introduced by her beautiful daughter, Marianna, I saw the kindness in her eyes and felt her warmth by the touch of her hand.

  2. I knew Virginia Colvin to be a person of great kindness. She had a gentle and caring spirit that projected warmth to everyone around her. I always felt like she was my biggest fan. I suppose she made everyone feel that way. I will miss her not only for the kindness she showed me, but also for the unselfish love she brought to Colleen and the whole Colvin family. May God bless and keep her.

  3. I met Virginia for the first time when she was in Minnesota for the marriage of my son Brian and her granddaughter Caren. You could see by the shine in her eyes how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. I can see how proudly my daughter-in-law talks of her grandmother and all the memory’s she has of her to hold close to her heart. Remember the precious memory’s you have and she will always be with you. Our thoughts and prays are with you.

  4. Virginia was like a mom to me, and was one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever known. She will be missed by many, but her spirit will live on in our hearts. My love and sympathy to Marianna, William, Karen, and Patrick as well as their children and relatives. With all our love, Brenda Forsythe, Jerry Beatty, Susan Lightfoot, Kim Taylor, Sandra Peterson, Trina and Jeramy Hansen (the family of Marba Schicke)

  5. Grandma, I will always remember all of the wonderful things you have taught me. I will forever remember the times we spent with you all the fun trips and vacations. The time you and I were on our way to the price is right and you were so bumbed we couldnt get it in. You taught me how to have fun. And how proud you were to be a grandma and a great grandma. I love you too grandma.
