Skow, Virginia Lee, a 2 year resident of San Pedro passed away on Monday, May 5, 2003 in Torrance. Born in Wamego, Kansas on July 31, 1919, Virginia was 83. She worked for the United States Government as a bookkeeper for 30 years. Virginia is survived by sons, Andrew Skow of Tehachapi, and Byron Skow of Torrance; grandsons, Geoffrey Skow of Phoenix, AZ, Matthew Skow of Torrance and Zachary Skow of Tehachapi; granddaughter, Shelley Whitlow of Harbor City and great-granddaughter, Reagan Whitlow of Harbor City. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 12, 2003 at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association.
