Virginia de leon Barbin, 81, resident of San Francisco, CA, joined our Creator on July 5, 2013. She was born in Manila, Philippines on September 15, 1931, the daughter of Pedro and Cecilia Barbin. She graduated from Far Eastern University in the Philippines with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. "No matter what the situation will be, the family stays together", "To always be humble" is the legacy she left. She lived her life selflessly serving her family. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Lea and Vida; grandchildren Noel, Cecilia and Daniel; sister, Angelina Mier; daughter-in-law, Betty and son-in-law, Lovic.

    Thank you for your prayers, thoughts and kindness. It is of great comfort to know that you are thinking of us as we grieve our mom’s passing away.

    Our mom was a caring, very loving and sweet mother to us. Your kind words will help sustain us in the difficult time ahead, as will the knowledge that Virginia, touched so many lives.
