Jurado, Virginia, a 48-year resident of Gardena, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in Gardena at the age of 82. She was born Virginia Ybarra to Rosa and Jose V. Ybarra in Los Angeles in 1927, the second of seven children. She married the love of her life, Ernesto Jurado, in 1949 and they began their life together in Los Angeles and moved to Gardena in 1961 where they lived for the rest of their lives. A devoted and loving Mother, she is survived by her daughters, Belinda of Gardena, and Irene (George) Arbuckle of Orange County, her son, Nick (Lori) of Nevada. Adored by Granddaughters, Stacy (Matt) Miller, Kelly Jurado, Grandsons, Gregory Arbuckle and Matthew Arbuckle and Great Grandchildren, Nora Rose Miller and Collin Miller. She is also survived by her siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernesto, her Mother, Rosa Ybarra and Father, Jose V. Ybarra. A gathering of family and friends will be held at McMillan & McCormick Gardena Chapel on Monday, March 9 from 1:00 - 6:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Gardena, followed by Graveside services at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. She will be sorely missed and forever loved by everyone she knew.
