Verona Vee Grey

Grey, Verona ''Vee'' passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2004 in Reno, NV.. Vee was born August 3, 1916 in Hanska, Minnesota to Gilbert and Emma Vee. She was 88 years old. She was a former teacher, waitress and in her later years co-owner of Grey's Jewel Box in the Del Amo Fashion Square in Torrance, CA. Vee and her husband Donel, retired to Reno, NV in the early 1990's. Vee was devoted to her family and was known to all to be generous, honest, faithful, loving and kind. Her greatest joy was giving to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband; Donel, her only daughter; Jerri (Bill) Quintin, Grandson Jeff (Shelby) Quintin and great-granddaughter; Mikayla, her sisters; Francie Norton, Grace Redding and Margaret Redding, stepsons; Mick (Pat) Grey and Dennis Grey, step grandchildren; Michael (Nicole) Grey and Michelle (Mike) Harder and several nieces, nephews and step great-grandchildren. Verona will be dearly missed by her family and all those friends who had an opportunity to meet this remarkable and beautiful woman. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, at 2 PM at White & Day Mortuary chapel in Redondo Beach, CA. Followed with graveside services at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA..
