  1. My dear Dorothy, Debbie and David. The good Lord has plans that go beyond what we are capable of understanding. I know that your family revolved around her, that see truly was the rock during all of the problems you all have encountered. Please know her purpose was to give you all the wisdowm she had and for you to pass it on to your children. She has done a great job as your teacher and mentor. You are all truly the finest people I have ever had the honor to meet and that she is so proud of how special you are. I will call you soon, Love John Boy

  2. My condolences to You and Yours, Dorothy. Those of us who worked with Your Mother will always remember her. Sincerely, Jan Wheeler

  3. My prayers go to the family. I will always remember Verda for her warm smile and loving hugs. Love Kathleen

  4. We had not seen Verda for a number of months and wondered if she was ill or had given up driving. We always enjoyed Verda\’s friendship and her upbeat spirit. She had a lot of spunk. She was a good neighbor and an asset to the neighborhood. We appreciated her doing the Neighborhood Watch job for so long. We will miss her. May God bless her family that remains.

  5. Family of Verda: I will miss Verda. She was a good friend and person. When she would come to the doctor\’s office where I worked she would always bring delicious goodies. My prayers are with you all. Hazel

  6. I\’m so sorry to hear of Verda\’s passing; I just happened to see her listed when I looked up my aunt\’s obituary on the same page (Eleanor Hager). I first met Verda and George when I joined Playa Linda Chapter. I was only 22 and very wet behind the ears, yet Verda took me under her wing and accepted me as part of the group. I\’ve never forgotten her kindness and sense of humor. She will be missed, and my prayers are with you all.
