  1. Dear Carla and Vince, so many nice memories come to my mind when I think of Jim together with Vera in California back in summer 1995 when I was there with my brother Ferdinando during one of the best times in my life: we felt like sons with them. I am remembering your mother in my prayers from the other side of the world. God bless you, Matteo Buatier

  2. Dear Cecere Family, Very sorry to learn of your mom’s passing! She was such a hard worker and very dedicated to her Church. Her reputation will be her honor in this life. Frances L. Martin

  3. Dear Cecere Family, My Deepest Sympathy to all of you! Vera was a sweet, kind lady; I will never forget her. She will be greatly missed by so many who had the pleasure of knowing her. My prayers are with you, Barbara

  4. Dear Carla, Vince and Anthony, you know the deep affection that tied us to Vera since the times of Princess Carla. We felt at home in California thanks to Vera and Jimmy and her departure means great sorrow for us all. She’ll be in our hearts for ever. We are together in the prayers notwithstanding the distance asking to God peace for Vera and serenity for you all

  5. Dear Family, I am so sadden to hear of Vera’s passing. I knew her through her work & was always delighted when she graced our office with a visit. She was full of smiles, humor, warmth and usually cookies in hand. Vera shared with us stories of her beloved family, travels, Italy and her gardens. To know Vera is to love her and we did! She was truly one of a kind and made our world a better, kinder place. I know she will live on in our cherished memories. Written with love …….. Suzie Balentine & Vera’s friends at the Palos Verdes Homes Association

  6. Dear Family and Friends, We were so shocked and sorry to hear of Vera’s passing, she was so full of energy when we recently saw her. Vera was a true professional in her work, and a genuine, funny, enthusiastic person whom we only recently got to know. She was very kind and patient with our kids when she visited us. We were impressed that she remembered our eldest son’s interest in coins and brought some foreign coins for him. She will be greatly missed to be sure.
