Aguas, Trinidad dela Resma, a 17 year resident of Torrance, CA and 7 year resident of San Lenadro, CA passed away at 3:00 p.m.on July 28, 2008 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance CA. She was born on June 11, 1922 in Angeles, Philippines. Trinidad "Trining" was 86 when she died. She was a member of St. Catherine Church. She was a full time home maker for 8 children , 10 granchildren and one great grand child. Besides caring for the family she loved to exercise with a group of senior citizen at Gardena Civic Center. She was so proud and happy to be a part of a group of friends called "Jolly Group". She also loved Chinese Food. Her hobbies were sewing and reading. She was an active member of the National retired Filipino Federal Employee NARFE)in the Philippines. She loved to attend Catholic Mass regularly and all the religious holidays. She enjoyed nice clothes & perfumes. She was very conscious about her appearance and cleanliness.. She watched EWTN all the time with Sister Angelica, 20/20 and other evening news with Diane Sawyer, Barbara Walters & Maurice Povic. She is survived by Sister, Illuminada Sonico-Cooper; Son, Melchor Aguas of Hawthorne, CA; Son, Joventino Aguas of Gardena, CA; Daughter, Purificacion Bituin; Son, Bernard Aguas of Gardena, CA; Rica Torres of Torrance, CA; Daughter, Adoracion Serrano; Daughter, Cristina Tolentino; and Daughter, Bernadette Talens of San Leandro, CA. She was preceded in death by her late Husband, Jesus G. Aguas. A Family Gathering and Visitation will be on Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm & Monday, August 4, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rice Mortuary Chapel. Vigil Services will begin at 7:00 PM on Sunday night at the Mortuary Chapel. Interment will take place in the Philippines.
