Tresa Blake, a lifetime resident of Southern California, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in Manhattan Beach. Born in Huntington Park, California, Tresa was 90 when she died.
She resided at the Pacific Inn in Torrance for the last six years. Prior to that she lived with her husband, Earl, in Joshua Tree, Ca for 35 years.
Tresa's passion in life was for her family. She was one of fourteen children and kept lifelong relations with all of them. Her zest for life inspired family and friends and others she came in contact with. She was quick with a smile and was able to make others smile.
She is survived by Son, Gary Blake of Manhattan Beach, CA and Daughter, Earlene Moffitt of Yucca Valley, CA, Granddaughter, Lisa Reid. Daughter-in law, Patt Blake, Son-in-law, Lanny Moffitt, Great-granddaughters Bailey and Cailan Reid and their father, Jason Reid. Preceded in death by Mother, Christine Callas and Father, James Callas and husband, Earl Blake.
She will be truly missed. Baseball, football and basketball season will not be the same without her. Please join us in celebration of her life:
A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary on Sunday, April 1, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The funeral service will also be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow at Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Long Beach in Long Beach.
