  1. I want to send my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and their many friends. I know she will be missed a great deal. Although I have not seen Thyra in many years, my memories are of a beautiful, sweet, funny girl who really lived her life to it’s fullest. Thyra always seemed to have a smile on her face. I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  3. Dearest Lanai & Brandy, When I think of the days when your family lived on Amantha it all comes back to me so clearly. Thyra was one of my best friends growing up. I remember so many days and nights spent at your house. Your mom was one of the coolest moms around. She took us to the drive in movies from time to time and i still remember the last movie we saw, I gotta laugh cause it was called “Mandingo” and it really wasn’t the kind of movie we all thought it would be …. Lanai, do you remember when we use to steal your moms Benson & Hedges cigarettes from her carton in the fridge? I dont think she even knew. Or jumping over the back brick wall to buy Marlboros at the Arco on Central? We use to ditch elementary and kick back all day at your house until it was time for your mom to come home then hurry and clean up the house… We were all so young. And when you all moved Thyra and I still hung out. And although after High school we started doing our own thing we still went out once in a while (in her VW bug), or hung out at the beach. Now that was a LONG time ago. I can say we shared some special times together. And the last time I spoke to her was in 1997 she called me and we filled each other in with the “411”. She was so happy to be a mother and it showed in her voice. I will truly miss my friend. She was one of a kind and one of the sweetest persons I have had the pleasure growing up with. And although I havent yet met her little boy Myles I’m sure he will keep her spirit alive. Gina was the one filling me in on what had happened. If you need anything she has my info. I’ve been back to back out of town for work and I’m sorry I missed the memorial services. I sent you flowers, I hope you got them. These are just a few of the many many memories I have of your sister. I will now cherise them and maybe one day share them with her son when he grows up. So you two PLEASE keep in touch.

  11. Dear Myles, Brandy, Lanai and Noah: Words cannot express the sorrow we all feel at the loss of Thyra and Pauline. Thyra was like a sister to me and Pauline was my mom away from home. During our teen years Thyra and I were inseparable. I think I spent more time at your house than I did my own. I have many fond memories of our friendship and happy times spent with your family. I will cherish them forever. I am truly blessed to have been a part of Thyra and Pauline’s life and miss them dearly. Their memory will forever live in my heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Our deepest condolences, the Sadler Family, Jeff, Eydie “Maligmat”, Cameron, Brandon and Dylan.

  12. Dear Myles, Brandy, Lanai, Noah and Family, Our sincerest condolences to your family as well as friends. We will miss Seding and Pauline so very much. We’ve known you for so very long that it is so hard to think of you as friends but as an extension of our family. We used to do everything together when we were little and went back and forth from your house to ours and those are the memories I will cherish forever. Thyra and Leslie were inseperable then and we were all so close. As we grew up I thank god that I always kept in touch with Seding. We will always keep Seding and Pauline deep in our hearts. Love and Prayers, Gina Alabe-Tyau, Davey, Brooke, Daniel and Paul Never lose touch with whom we love, we will never know when the time will come that we will not have the chance to say ‘I Love You my Friend’ ever again.

  13. Dear Lanai, Brandy and family, Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss.I have the fondest memories of Thyra and Eydie together all the time when we were growing up. 25. Again, I am very sorry for your family’s loss and I will always remember and miss Thyra. Many years ago we all hung out at the house in Carson and enjoyed good times and great friendship. Then I didn’t see Thyra for at least 10 years – until one day – there she was again. We had mutual friends that played in the band Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds, and I started seeing her at various gigs. It was fun and nice seeing her pretty smile again. She had a beautiful soul and a big heart. I pray that I will see you again someday in Heaven. I will miss you. Guy
