Teruko Nakamura, a 45-year resident of Gardena, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015. Born on November 3, 1930, in Los Angeles, CA, she was 85 when she passed. Teruko is survived by sons, David (wife-Jeanne) Nakamura; John (wife-Norma) Nakamura; daughter, Julie Nakamura-Fowler; sisters: Nobuko Amano, Yetsuko Fujiwara, Toyoko Vassil, and Yaeko Sakamoto-King; and granddaughters - Rachel Fowler and Naomi Nakamura. A memorial service will be held at Rice Mortuary on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm with a reception immediately following the service.
