TEDFORD, TEDDY LEON, a 70 year resident of the So. Bay (Manhattan Beach and Torrance) , passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2002 in Torrance. He was born in San Gabriel, CA on July 1, 1931, was a Korean War veteran and worked in the aerospace industry (TRW) for over 40 years. Teddy is survived by Wife, Neva Tedford of Torrance, CA, Daughter, Teresa (Mrs. Larry) Boggs of Fountain Valley, CA, Son, Chris (Phyllis) Melvin of Torrance, CA, Son, Ted (Mimi) Tedford, Jr. of Torrance, CA, Daughter, Janet(David Day) Tedford of Torrance, CA, Son, Stuart (Barbara) Tedford of Huntington Beach, CA, Son, John Robert Tedford of Santa Monica, CA, Son, Tony (Jennifer) Tedford of Los Angeles, CA and Daughter, Paula (Mrs. Nick) Bradshaw of Cook, WA. Also left to mourn his passing are a brother, Raymond (Pauline) Tedford of Garden Grove and thirteen grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Teddy was preceded in death by his 3 year old sister, Ruth Tedford. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent St. (at Pac. Coast Hwy), Redondo Beach, CA, 90277on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at 2:00PM. Private inurnment at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. En lieu of flowers, family prefers donations to Trinity Care Hospice, 2601 Airport Drive, Torrance, CA, 90505.
