Patton, Susann Lunsford, a resident of Torrance, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Torrance. Born in Coos Bay, OR, Susann was 54 when she died. A retired Pharmacist, Susann was an avid orchid grower and artist. She was heavily involved in the South Bay Orchid Society and served on the Board for a number of years. The watercolor and oil paintings that she has given us to cherish display the passion she held for life. And, even though she was in a wheelchair for many years before her passing, her disability never slowed her down. Susann touched many lives during her all too brief stay on this earth and everyone she touched loved her. She will be missed. She is survived by her loving Husband, Edward Patton of Torrance, CA, Sons, Judd and Kenneth, Mother, Alice Lunsford and Father, Leonard Lunsford. The memorial service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. A reception will follow in Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Inurnment will be private.
