Steven Wayne McCord

Steven W. McCord, age 60. With great sadness we announce the passing of Steve, a loving son, brother, and friend. A graduate of Palos Verdes High School in 1968, Steve sang in those days of the life and times of the counter-culture but dealt with reality in the aerospace industry for 20 years. He was one of a kind. Eventually he followed his dream and became a radio disc jockey in Mendocino, CA. Declining health brought him back to Palos Verdes years later. An avid sports enthusiast and rock music buff, Steve left an imprint of love on all our hearts. Survived by his mother Billie, brother Rick, and sister SuAnne (Andrew) White.
