  2. I graduated from Santa Clara Hi, Oxnard in 1944. and loved Sr. Mary Catheran then and now Some of my children had her in the 70’s. Sister came to our 50th class reunion at my house, habit and all!I am sure everyone loved and will miss her. My condolences.

  3. Sr. Mary Catherine nurtured my talents and love for music during her tenure at Santa Clara Elementary School and High School in Oxnard. The “Music House” was her classroom. I was one among many students who were touched by her caring dedication to her profession and to her religious calling. Thank you, Sister Mary Catherine!

  4. I doubt this will be read but I have a newspaper article about Lt William Fearon being shot down over France. He is the brother of Sister Mary Catherine. This guy must have gone to Loyola High School with my dad John F. McLaughlin. Lt William was the real deal ! He flew 73 missions in Europe before he was shot down. He went to St Catherines Academy and Loyola High School and USC. My father also went to USC so they must have known each other.
