Ayala, Louise, C.S.J., passed away on Sunday November 9, 2014, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1946.
Sister Louise taught in Catholic elementary schools in Southern California and in Idaho for almost 20 years. She then studied nursing and served in hospitals in Tucson and at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood. For thirteen years in Phoenix she was a chaplain for varied ministries including hospice. She was also the chaplain at the airport in Phoenix, and loved to tell about helping lost travelers.
She is survived by her brother, Rigoberto Ayala.
Service of Remembrance will be held Monday November 17, 2014 at 4:30pm with Funeral Liturgy at 6:30pm, both at Carondelet Center in Los Angeles. Graveside service will be held Tuesday November 18 at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
