Sr. Francis Eileen Scanlon

Scanlon, Sister Mary Ann, C.S.J., passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Los Angeles. Born February 19, 1928 in Los Angeles, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1946. Sr. Mary Ann was a medical technician at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood and St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson for over 20 years. She then served as director of religious education and pastoral associate in Hacienda Heights, and later returned to the hospitals as a chaplain. She is survived by her nephew Jack Scanlon, a niece, Denise Scanlon and nephews Patrick and Michaell Scanlon. The Service of Remembrance will be Monday, July 8, 2013 at 4:30PM and Funeral Mass following at 7:00PM both at Carondelet Center. Nicheside service will take place Tuesay, July 9, 2013 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.
