  1. Shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Shannon. She was a great friend to many. My deepest sympathy to her family and Jim.

  2. Shannon, “My Best Friend” Dawn ott Loving sister, voted best smile of the McCann clan per Steve. Giving, always giving, then still giving. Shannon knew God,love, family and friends. In her weakest of times she still had the energy that seemed only to have come from the love she experienced from a wonderful husband, family and friends. Shannon will be missed by so many and you know who you are. In the short time that I knew Shannon, I soon realized how lucky I was to have such a wonderful, loving person in my new family. Gods speed and love! Steve

  3. Shannon I will miss you very much. I know that I was not the favorite person in your life, but I want you to know you really made a difference in mine. You taught me how to believe in myself and that meant alot to me. You are truely an angel. Please watch over me until we meet again. Love Always, Jackie P.S. Save a space for me up there ……….

  4. long ago I was a friend of Dawn. I send you my deepest sympathy in your loss. My only memory of Shannon was as a young girl when you lived in the big house on the corner in Redondo. I remember the love your family has for one another, and hope that love sustains you. Sharon

  5. My Irsih friend, I will miss you dearly. You started off as our roomate, but quickly became part of the family. I will never forget how you claimed to not care for animals, yet after a long bar tending shift at Besties and a couple of drinks, as we talked into the morning, there you would be petting our cat Cujo in your lap, almost unknowingly. It just shows how truly large your heart was. When you and Jim found each other it was an obvious match of true love. It was wonderful being part of those important times in your life and sharing mine with you. We will stay close with Jim as I know you will in your way. I respected your honest nature and your strong sense of right and wrong. But you always allowed people to change and grow and accepted them. Your strength and perserverence was amazing. We all have so much to learn from you. You truly were a gift. The world is a little emptier without you, but we shall all meet again one day. It will be the best party ever because you will have everything to do with it! I love and release you my friend.
