Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have wonderful, fond memories of teenage days in PV in the 70\’s and remembering Scott\’s fun laugh and warm heart. I hadn\’t seen him in years and years, but it seems like yesterday when I see his photo. Wish I could be there for the memorial, but my thoughts are with you all. –Kathy Aha, West Linn, Oregon

  2. Jim and I send our deepest sympathy to DeeDee, Kathryn, Ian, and Scott\’s parents and siblings. We are very sad to hear of Scott\’s death. He was always kind to both of us, and I know he loved my sister very much.

  3. I had not seen Scott since High School days. We grew up in a wonderful place, a place where it was fun to be a kid. Part of me will always stay in the South Bay, kind of like the picture of Scott on this site. It seems he and I share the same interests. I will play a happy tune for him tonite and think about him while riding the country roads—–Gene Alger

  4. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO ALL THE STEWARTS. DEE-DEE,KATHRYN AND IAN.STEWY IS IN MY EARLIST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. I WAS AROUND 4 WHEN SCOTT CAME INTO MY FAMLIES LIFE. EVER SINCE THEN I CAN REMEMBER I JUST LOVED SCOTT. HE ALWAYS KNEW I HAD A CRUSH ON HIM AND HE WOULD TELL ME YEAR AFTER YEAR WHEN I TURNED 16 HE WOULD TAKE ME ON A DATE AND HE DID. THE BIGGEST CRUSH OF MY LIFE TUNED INTO EVEN A GREATER FRIEND,WE SAW EACH OTHER OFTEN. I GOT MARRIED, AND STEW USED TO COME BY AFTER WORK TO CHECK IN. AFTER MY MARRAIGE ENDED AND I WAS LEFT TO PICK UP THE PIECES SCOTT WAS THERE IMMEDIATLY. LATER I BEGAN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANGELO WHO SCOTT HAD KNOWN FROM GROWING UP ON THE HILL,AND I SO WANTED THEM TO BE FRIENDS. I USED TO INVITE STEWY UP AND TELL HIM TO BRING HIS GUITAR SO THEY COULD JAM TOGETHER(THERES NOTHING LIKE LISTING TO A GREAT GUITAR PLAYER). THE JAMS AT OUR HOUSE SOON INVOLVED FAMILY MEMBERS DON AND FRANK AND SO “OFF THE RICHTER” WAS BORN. STEWY COULD BEND THOSE STRINGS! SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES I HAVE OF SCOTT FROM CHILDHOOD TO ADULTHOOD. WE ARE ALL BLESSED TO HAVE HAD SCOTT IN OUR LIVES( AND HOW MANY LIFES HE TOUCHED)STEWY HAD EVERYTHING ANYONE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IN A MAN AND FRIEND AND HE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART ALWAYS!

I remember him smiling and riding off with his girlfriend on the back of his motorcycle and the wind blowing his wild hair. -Marilyn

  7. My family and I were so shocked and saddened by the news of Scotts untimely death. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and many friends. Scott was a good friend and would of given any one of us the shirt off his back. He took great care of my sister, Deedee, and loved her and her children. We will all miss him very much.Scott had a great sense of humor and his smile could light up the darkest of rooms,he loved life and lived it to its fullest, may we all take this as a lesson from him, we don\’t know how long we have so love everyone, be kind and give many hugs and smiles, they are free!!!

  8. Scott and I knew each other from grammar school through High School. In fact, he was my very first boyfriend (in second grade). 10. To the family of Scott. Scott was our next door neighbor. He was always friendly and would greet us whenever we would see each other. He will surely be missed in the neighborhood. We moved in next to Scott a little over 2 years ago. Previously, our house belonged to Tom\’s mother and father. When we moved in, we decided to do a major renovation to the house. The person most effected by this renovation was Scott. He could not have been more accomodating. He was a real gentleman, and we will miss him greatly as a neighbor and friend. P.S. As next door neighbors we would be glad to help the family in any way. Our address is 213, please let us know if we can assist. Trash, newspapers, etc.

  11. Scott, I only talked to you a few times, but I feel as though I knew you for a long time. Dee Dee talked about you often and shared your kindness and concern for your family and friends. You were part of our extended family in ways you did not know. We will miss you but will never forget you. Watch over us as you are surfing in heaven.

  12. Scott was one of the nicest customers we had.. It was always a pleasure dealing with him. He would go out of his way to ask how we were doing, always concerned for –the other persons welfare. He will be missed. He touched many of our employees and we grieve at his passing. Our condolences to the family.

  13. My sister, DeeDee, only had wonderful things to say about Scott. He was a kind, mellow, easy-going guy, and we\’ll really miss him at our family gatherings. We\’re so sorry for the tragic loss of your son and brother. You\’re in our thoughts and prayers. Laura Yoklavich and Tom Metzler

  14. We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Scott. We were first introduced to Scott by our dear neighbor, Scott\’s fiance, Dee Dee. We knew “Stu” as a beach lover and we know that he cared deeply for Dee Dee, Catherine and Ian. We also know that our granddaughter, Risa, felt that she had a friend in “Stuie” as she called him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and Dee Dee and her children. God Bless you during this difficult time. John & Norma Hydro and Risa Mejorado

  15. My thoughts and prayers to all the family. I worked with Scott at Stewart Film Screen for 7 years. It was a pleasure working with him.

  16. We were so sorry to hear about the loss of Scott. Scott made my sister and her two children very happy and they loved eachother very much. He will be missed by all who loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who loved Scott. May God bless all of you during this terrible time. Rob; Mary; Emily; Matt; and Ben Yoklavich (DeeDee Walter\’s brother)
