Gil, Salvador Aguilar of Torrance , passed away on Monday, February 5, 2001. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on April 30, 1913. Salvador was 87 when he returned to the Heavenly Father. He had served in the Navy during World War II and was employed for many years at Garrett Airesearch. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Gil Aguilar of Torrance, CA. and his sons Edward (Juanita) Aguilar of San Diego, CA.,Roland Aguilar of Torrance CA. and his adopted son, George (Gude) Floratos of Torrance, CA. Others left to mourn his passing include his brother, Vincent Aguilar of Seal Beach, CA, his sister, Rosemary (Mrs. Efthimios) Floratos of Redondo Beach, CA and his grandchildren; Genaro, Andre and Simone Aguilar. Salvador was especially proud of his parents who preceded him in death...his father, The Hon. Judge Tranquilino Aguilar and his mother, Aurora (Gil) Aguilar, M.D. .Visitation will be Friday 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at RICE MORTUARY, 5310 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, CA. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent St. (at Pacific Coast Hwy.), Redondo Beach, CA., on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. Private inurnment.
