Ryan Matthew Nugent died suddenly and unexpectedly in Eugene, Oregon on August 17, 2019. He was just 25 years old. Ryan was born January 14, 1994 in Torrance, California to Dreux and Lizbeth. Ryan is survived by two loving families: Liz and Keith Wilson of Laguna Hills and Dreux and Kate Nugent of El Segundo, as well as brothers Sean and Dylan (Goodreau). He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Sandra Martin of Laguna Niguel and so many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly. 1. My name is Sean Ma, father of Emily Ma who sublet the Capri Apartments to Ryan over the summer. It’s sad to hear about your loss and I express my sincere sympathy to you and your family. Emily and I do not know Ryan well, but we are deeply saddened by the loss. May God give him eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain. Emily is going back to her apartment in a few days and feels so sorry about not being able to help. It also feels weird not knowing the cause of Ryan’s death. May we kindly ask what happened to Ryan? We don’t intend to cause any hard feeling or invade your privacy during the difficult time.

    Best Wishes,
    Sean Ma

  7. Dear Ryan’s family , I am blessed to have had Liz come back into my life from our days in high school.

I was lucky enough to spend the day with Ryan in Cambridge while he gave us a tour of the town, campus and his dorm room. I was very surprised when we stopped at the local pub and I asked Ryan which beer he recommended.
Ryan replied, I don’t know I haven’t had one here. Well, Ryan my sweet, kind, smart man, you are loved and missed.
I will forever remember my favorite beer was with you.
