  3. Rudy has a very special place in my heart. He was like my father-in-law, since he was the first in the Martineau family. So he was family to me. I knew he loved me, though he was shy…he hugged me sideways. Sometimes we shed a tear together…without having to say I love you and care about you. His heart was so big, I could always feel it. It didn’t matter if he was raising his voice at Matt when he was a little guy – to put on his jacket. Or when he’d get upset at me (but not really) because I wasn’t going to marry the current boyfriend. He wanted us to be taken care of. It was all love. He wanted everyone within his view to be happy and he’d tell ya how to do it, in case you were wondering. 🙂 I love you, Rudy. I’m going do my best to be a good sister-in-law to your daughter and to be available to Mary and the others for comfort. I know you’re in good hands and not suffering in that body any more. Im happy about that.

  4. Dear Rosina, I heard about your dad passing today and I know how much he meant to you and how close you were to him. He was a special man with lots of love in his heart for everyone. I always knew that you got your depth and compassion from your dad. My thoughts are with you. Mario Arias

  5. Dear Mary, Maureen, Donna, Rosina, Val and family. My deepest condolensces on the loss of your beloved husband and father. Rudy was such a warm, gentle soul and I will never forget his kind smile and generous spirit. May peace be with him and with you all. Lots of love, Heidi Turbow

  6. Dear Porcaro Family, I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Porcaro. Some of the memories that jump out are: big him cooking in the little kitchen; the twinkle in his eye and his laugh as he listened to Maureen and I tell teenage stories; and, him serving large quantities of delicious food and telling me I needed to EAT MORE! The love he felt for his family was always apparent and I know you are all missing him. Our prayers are with you all. Love, Kelly Roth

  7. Rosina, I heard the news about your dad, so sorry. I lost mine about 4 years ago. I choose to only remember the good times now, somewhat bitter-sweet. Mario said that your husband is ill as well. In the hardest times of my life, I would remember that God never gives us more than we can handle. Take care, I’ll say a prayer for you. Love Christina PS If you’d like to call me (916)939-1422

  8. Dear Daddy, I loved dancing with you. You were such a great dancer. Enjoy dancing with the angels until we can dance together again. I will miss and love you all the days of my life. Love, Rosina
