Roy Herbert Miller

Roy Herbert Miller went to Heaven on June 3, 2001. He was born on April 30, 1929 in St Joseph, Missouri. Roy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a machinist for over 40 years until retiring in 1993 from American Electronics in Fullerton. As an active member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish, Roy visited shut-ins and brought them the Holy Eucharist. He also was a member of the secular Francisan Order. His hobbies included woodworking, computer programming and camping. Roy will always be remembered by his wife of 51 years, Theresa; his children Loretto Owen of Las Vegas, NV, Roy B Miller of Oceanside, Christine McDermott of Concord, CA. and David Miller of Long Beach; his brother Ray Miller of Tucson, AZ; his sister Joanne Miller of Las Vegas, NV; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Roy was preceeded in death by his brother Duane Miller and his daughter Jeanne Kahn. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7, 2001 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Rice Mortuary. Rosary will be celebrated at Rice Mortuary, Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 7:15 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 8, 2001 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Catherine Laboure School.
