Rosemary
Actress Rosemary DeCamp died Feb. 20th at her home in Torrance, CA, from complications of pneumonia. She was 90 years old. Her career began in radio in the 1930s, and her film rolls included ''Yankee Doodle Dandy,'' ''Hold Back The Dawn,'' ''On Moonlight Bay,'' and ''13 Ghosts.'' She was married for 67 years to Judge John A. Shidler, who died in 1997. She is survived by 4 daughters - Margaret Zambrano, Martha Weber, Valerie Stanton, and Nita Shidler, and a grandson, John Zambrano. Services will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Palos Verdes Estates on March 4 at 2:00 PM. En lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the John A. Shidler Memorial Scholarship Fund, PO Box 1005, San Pedro 90733-1005 attention: Valerie Stanton.

  1. Although I am still young (49) I do remember Ms DeCamp from the early BW days when she was on Death Valley Days. She was very beautiful and just listening to her talk was wonderful. She will be missed.
