Rosemari Jennings Lehr August 8, 1938- January 5, 2018 It is with sad hearts we announce the death of Rosemari Jennings Lehr. She passed peacefully in her sleep while residing at Country Villa Mar Vista in Los Angeles, California. Rosemari was born in Findlay, Ohio to Paul Kitchen and Mary Jane Lackey (Miller), both deceased. She graduated from Findlay High School and later obtained her Bachelor Degree at UCLA. Rosemari married Forest R. Jennings (now deceased) in June of 1956 and together had two daughters Tamara Lynn (Jennings) Douthitt and Pamela Lore’ (Jennings) Johnson, both currently residing in Findlay, Ohio. As a military wife, Rosemari and her husband resided in Georgia and Hawaii before she settled down in Southern California where she remained until her passing. With an interest in theater, she studied at Actors Studio West and performed in several theatrical performances. Rosemari also worked over 30 years in the Aerospace Industry as an Administrative Assistant. At one time, she served as President of The Toastmistress Club. Rosemari’s love for the performing arts lead her to fencing lessons, skiing, horseback riding, and tennis. Later in life she married Samuel Lehr (now deceased) and enjoyed traveling to such places as Europe, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, and Brazil. Together they revisited Hawaii all while being an active member of a local lodge for The Order of the Eastern Stars. Rosemari was very thankful and proud of her four grandchildren. Though many miles separated them, she stayed in touch and visited as often as possible. Pictures were a large part of her life and her volumes of photo albums document her many adventures and the love she had for all of her family. Rosemari is preceded in death by her sister Betty (Kitchen) Craft. Surviving family members include brothers Paul Richard Kitchen and Robert Kitchen (both of Fostoria); Daughters Tamara Douthitt and Pamela (Guy) Johnson; and Grandchildren Monica Johnson, Brittany (Kevin) Doty, Gabriel Johnson, and Lisa Douthitt, all of whom reside in Findlay, Ohio. A graveside service will be held at Pacific Crest Cemetery on January 10, 2018 at 2:00pm.
