A precious one from us has gone
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our hearts,
Which never can be filled.
And after a lonely heartache
And many a silent tear,
But always a beautiful memory
Of one we love so dear.
Although we didn’t keep in touch, we touched base now again and caught up. I still remember the first our first conversation when I met him at the 102 building. Ron was a good hearted person.

I met Ron in 1963 from that moment on we became good friends. Ron was always a caring person and a delightful person to be around. I lived with him for a short time after my divorce. Ron and I loved to snow and water ski, as well as going hunting. We had a lot of great times together. He cam to vist me when I moved to Hawaii and we snorkels for the hole week he was there. I was very sad to hear of his passing. He will truly be missed.
I met Ron in 1970 at GTE in Hermosa. We dated for a while and became good friends. I even took Police Reserve training in Hermosa Beach with Ron in 1971. I went on to take Police Science at El Camino but didn’t continue when I realized how little they paid. Ron became a full on reserve officer and we lost touch. I don’t know how long he stayed with HBPD but I know he loved it. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing, I thought maybe some day we would share a beer together again.
