Robert
GHENT, SR., ROBERT MAYNARD, of Manhattan Beach , passed away September 28, 2003. He was born February 8, 1920 in Ohio, was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and an employee of Chevron USA for 30 years. Mr. Ghent is survived by his wife, Audrey Ghent. Sons; Robert M. Ghent, Jr. of Utah and Bruce Ghent of Manhattan Beach, and Daughter, Judith Barese of FL. Also left to mourn his passing are his Sisters; Gladys Cametta of OH and Phyllis Koonz of Carson, CA., twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Frances Ghent in 1997. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2003 from 5PM to 8PM at WHITE & DAY MORTUARY, 3215 Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Services will be Thursday, October 2, 2003 at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 501 Rowell, Manhattan Beach. Entombment will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 W. 182nd St., Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
