Wilson, Robert Leroy, a long time resident of Manhattan Beach, CA passed away in his home on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. He was born on July 7, 1933 in Pennsylvania. Robert was 76 years old. After Law School he joined the Air Force where he reached the rank of Captain and served as a Judge Advocate. He then spent the next 47 years as an attorney and was also a top instructor for the Dale Carnegie Courses. Robert's favorite past time was deep-sea fishing. Robert is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Monty) Carpenter of Lahaina, HI; son, Jamey Wilson of Santa Monica, CA; sister, Jean (Deacon) Bergholtz of Saegertown, PA; and granddaughter, Cayley Carpenter of HI. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilson and Kathryn Grande. A gathering of family & friends will be held in Robert's memory at White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 4-8pm.   1. Kim & Family & Jamey: Please know how sorry I am to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts & prayers. There is never a good time to loose a loved one, but the holidays seem to make it worse. My mom lost a brother & sister on Valentines day & a great-aunt lost her hubby & a son on Christmas day (all were in different years, but didn’t make it any easier).
