Passig, Robert Harry, 81, of Redondo Beach and Lake Isabella, CA died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at home. Born July 12, 1921 in Clinton, Iowa, he was the son of the late Carl and Hazel Passig. He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen O'Connor Passig, and his sister, Lois Wood. Bob served in the Air Force as a Sergeant in Burma during World War II. He was a self-employed auto mechanic for many years, and worked for both MGM Studios and CBS Television City in the Transportation Deparatment until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and playing the guitar. He loved animals, especially cats, and provided a home for many strays. Surviving are one brother, Richard, and wife Barbara of Washington State, daughter Linda and husband Raymond Crough of Frederick, Maryland, and two granddaughters, Casey and Amanda Crough also of Frederick. Bob will be deeply missed and remembered by his friend, Pauline Boyle. Services are pending.
