Groux, Robert H. 5/2/1920 to 5/28/2007 Robert H. Groux passed away after suffering from complications brought on by pneumonia. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rhea of 67 years, his three daughters Theresa, Suzie and Constance (Connie), their husbands, Edgar Frazer, Paul Miller and Harry Dalbey. He has seven grandchildren, Darryl Cunningham, Cheryl Emerson, Richard Frazer, Robert Frazer, Renee Newton, Eric Miller and Jason Miller and nine great-grandchildren. He was a man with a big heart and a passion for keeping the family close. Bob was a very good father, godfather, mentor and friend. His greatest joys in life were having the grandchildren around and barbeques with the family. Bob was very proud of his bionic hand and his planned trip to the moon. He will be missed deeply and remains forever in our hearts. Memorial service will be Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Hermosa Beach. He is a WWII veteran of the US Navy and has requested to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at sea.

  1. I absolutely love Bob’s obituary!It is very “Bob”. I met Bob before marrying Roger, and he warned me that Groux men were generally a cranky bunch. For the most part, he was correct, that is excepting him. Bob will remain my favorite Groux ever! He and Rhea made the cutest couple! My love to you Rhea and the girls.
