  1. Carol, Bob and Jim – Please accept our sincere condolences. You know how much your father was loved and admired by Judy and myself. He had a special place in our hearts and we will always remember him with love. He will be missed.

  2. Uncle Bob was such a wonderful gentle man. His character and integrity were impeccable. He loved his family. He added so much to my life. I remember his laughter. Anybody who knows him, and how much he loved a joke, enjoyed his very special and often laughter. He also gave the best hugs of anyone I know. He was very intelligent and loved to tell stories of his life and the aerospace industry. Stock watching was another thing that I remember about him. He and I had a good time designing our home addition and I realized that he knew a lot about design, and architecture. He will be known for the wonderful children he raised. He gave his children many of his best qualities, as they are all warm and very loving. I am so grateful to be part of his family and enjoy the care and love of his children. I will always remember his , twinkling eyes, and great laughter, our times together and his favorite Mexican Restaurant. I loved him and will miss him, but know he will be with God until I see him again. Judy

  3. I’ve always enjoyed visiting with Bob at family functions. He’s always genuinely interested in what’s going on in your life. It has been a true honor and pleasure to have met Bob. I will miss his glass case protruding from his shirt pocket. My deepest sympathy goes out to Carol and her brothers and more importantly to Dana who I’m sure was very close. Bob will be missed, but his memory of him will last a lifetime.

  4. I met Grandpa Sauer for the first time at my wedding. Some time after the ceremony, an elderly gentlemen came up to me with tears in his eyes and gave me the warmest hug. I was very touched. I recognized him right away every time I saw him after that and he always had the same warm hug for me. He was a gentle, loving soul and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  5. Extending our sincere condolences to Jim Sauer and the Sauer family. Your dad, Robert Sauer, was a kind and thoughtful man, and we will miss him. Thinking of you, Tom and Jean Hirata Kay Ishihara
