Richard
Richard Ray DeGuire Richard was born September 29, 1953 in Los Angeles. He was happily married to Barbara Bodnar DeGuire for more than 26 years. His legacy is three amazing sons, Adam 21, Alan 18 and Aaron 14. His father, Fred, of Torrance and brother Derry, of Missouri as well as his mother-in-law and father-in-law Willa Mae and Bart Bodnar of Gardena also survive Richard along with many many friends. Richard lived in Gardena and Torrance all of his life. He graduated from Gardena High School and together with Barbara owned and operated his own business. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Sunday, December 28th at 2 PM at TABB Field, 23009 Doris Way in Torrance. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested you make a donation to your favorite charity or to TABB Baseball or West High School Booster Club in Richard's name.   2. Dear Barbara, Our son, Adam, is a close friend of your son Adam. Our Adam has had a rocky relationship with both of us for the last 5 years, and hasn\’t spoken to his father for over 3 years. Last Thursday he came home and made amends with his father, tearfully sharing that his good friend\’s father had just died and he didn\’t want “us” to end like we are.
