Richard Caldow Gillham, a 68 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Thursday December 25, 2012 at home. Born in Decatur City, Iowa, Richard was 88 when he died. Richard had served in the Navy during World War II. After service he worked for 37 years and retired from Mobil Oil Refinery in Torrance, California. Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary Lou Gillham of Torrance, CA; sons Richard (Connie) Gillham of Torrance, California and Christopher (Brenda) Gillham of Davis City, Iowa; three grandchilldren Kristan Gillham of Kansas City, Missouri and Frank and Harry Gillham of Torrance, California.
