  6. Uncle Titong lives on in my heart and memory. But he especially lives through April and Auntie Lorie. I’m forever grateful for uncle’s wit and kind spirit. “Steve McResty” was Magic. He had faith in all that he did, and all that he encouraged me to do. He always had the silliest stories and nothing but nice things to say about everyone else. He was humble, and generous. Never an unkind word could be spoken of Uncle Titong. Nor will one ever be. He was so patient with me growing up and so giving. He helped my parents so much with my siblings and I. He was the best example of how happy we should all be throughout our lives. Even in great pain, he smiled and lifted all of our spirits. “I love you uncle! I miss you. Your Godson, Alain”

  8. The greatest of men are not always the most publicly visible; not always senators, congressman,or presidents. I have had the gift of a wonderful father & mother who have taught my brothers and sisters & I how important it is to make a difference and give back quietly and humbly. My Uncle Titong was a rare man, who was able to do this and more. His positive and enduring legacy grew from his generosity, humility, and unspoken love for his family. I was one of the lucky nieces/nephews who had the privilege to spend many years with him. He was always first to offer assistance with tasks both big and small. His voice, infectious smile, and genuine appreciation for life will always be in the forefront of my heart and mind. I will be forever grateful for my Auntie Lorie and cousin April for being such a special part of our family and loving my uncle so unconditionally. Their dedication to him helped keep his health and strength for many years beyond what many foresaw originally. We were blessed to have him for these years, and will always miss him.
