  1. candle 3You are so loved and so missed Reggie. I pray you are resting in peace with a nice cold pint of beer in hand. Thank you for everything, friend.

  2. candle 7No one heals the heartache that death brings, no one can steal the memory that love brings. Will hold on to the love, not the loss. So long Reggie, till we meet again….

  3. candle 7Reggie, I met you 12 years ago when I first arrived at UCLA. From the first time we met you welcomed me as a friend. Such a good person you impacted more lives than you will ever know. Miss you friend.

  4. candle 7Reggie, you have always been the most inspiring human, I hope you know how much you have impacted the lives of so many, including mine. I appreciate all your lessons, in life and in work, and will continue to use them and remember you. Your bright energy will always be remembered and missed. May your soul rest in peace.

  5. candle 7Dear Reggie,
Thank you 🙏🏼 for all the Love. For your Generous and Beautiful Self. You will continue to live in our hearts and bring us big smiles through the wonderful memories and the lessons learned by your example. Always there, Always Present, and Always Awesome! Miss you my friend. Big hug. Love, Elvia.

  6. candle 2“ There are stars whose radiance is visible on earth though they have long been extinct. There are people whose brilliance continues to light the world even they are no longer among the living”.
Miss you my friend ❤️ Robin

  7. candle 1Reggie,
You were the heart of our team, and you are dearly missed.

I learned so much from you, and valued your mentorship more than you know. Many were positively affected by your efforts, and your light always left a lasting impression. Your teachings, insights, and encouragement to move things in a positive direction are constantly present with the day to day decisions made at work therefore your spirit continues to propel us forward…that is one of the many ways in which you continue to live on and be part of the team.

Reggie, you are gone, but will certainly never be forgotten. May you rest in peace, and may your family take comfort in knowing your spirit and legacy lives on.

  8. candle 7Reggie ,

I can’t believe this, 🥲you will be truly missed . Thank you for being a great Boss and being YOU it was always fun! ( I’ll never forget your laugh) I’m glad I was able to work with you, you showed me a lot in HR. RIP Reggie 👼🏻

    Love ❤️ Valerie

  9. candle 4While I only knew you for a short amount of time, your charisma will live on in my memory forever. How wonderful that this amazing trait also gets to be passed along to your daughter, who will no doubt be a beautiful testament to your legacy. It has been a pleasure Reggie. You will be missed!

  10. candle 1The pages of our lives,
Transformed into a comic book of lies,
    Full of misunderstandings and deceptions,
    Of failures and corruption,
    Using the words of resistance,
    Fighting the good fight,
    Struggling with commitment,
    Wrestling with belief,
    Because we’re taught that hope
    has its own road,
And that road leads to perfection,
Yet we learn perfection doesn’t exist,
    So we find ourselves now
    Flowing down a stream,
Realizing we didn’t change a thing,
Brainwashed by the theory of possibility,
Seduced by the concept of change.

  11. Reggie, you were a bright light in my life and I appreciate our work friendship. I value your positivity and smarts, and the way you could nuance a situation to accomplish your goals. I miss you being in the world. Love, Andy

  12. candle 7Reggie – remember that time we were in Atlanta for the Clinical Lab Conference…and I don’t remember exactly how this came up, but you said to me, how angry you would be if one day, when you were to pass, and at your memorial service, people would only talk about ‘how hard I worked [in my job]’? Well, look around, my friend. As amazing as you were at your job, the only things I am hearing is how kind, how inspiring, and how amazing of a human you were, and I cannot agree more. You have certainly left an imprint on me, and I hope you know how much I miss you.

  13. candle 2Reggie and family,

I am so incredibly sad for you and sorry for your loss. Reggie was a great professional and person. I only knew him for a few short years, but he was a magnetic person to work with and such a driver of positive change for UCLA.

My thoughts and strength go out to the entire family and to UCLA. He will be missed!

    Rest in Peace, Reggie.

  14. candle 7Dear Reggie,

It was an honor to work with you over these past few years. While the path was not always easy, you were a genuine and caring person to work with at each step along the way. Thank you for leading by example and for blessing us with your kindness. May the goodness you bestowed upon the world return to you and your family.

    May you rest in peace,
    Arvin

  15. candle 7Your kindness transcends time and space. You’ve left lots of love in all whom you have crossed paths with. Thank you for sharing your light with all of us. Knowing you has been such a blessing, I hope you know how missed you are.

  16. candle 6A toast to the life of the party! I’ll hold my memories near and wish your soul peace. Thank you for the laughs and friendship, I will miss you.

    • Reggie,
Your smile, sense of humor, and warmth has touched many souls and will forever be felt. I feel fortunate to have met you. Sending love and prayers to your family.

  17. candle 7Reggie, I hope you know how much you were loved. You touched so many lives – more than you probably realized. We miss your laugh, your smile, your sense of style, but most importantly, your humanity. You cared deeply about others and were always thinking about the team. You worried about who needed what and how we could all stay connected in this crazy world. You reminded us to be silly when things got too serious. And I could always count on you to quote Hamilton at the perfect moment in a meeting. Well, we may not have control over who lives and dies, but we will continue to tell your story, my friend.

  18. candle 7“Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.”

Your love and light will shine on for many of us, Reggie. Rest in Peace. <3

  19. candle 4Dear Reggie, still in disbelief that you’re gone. I’ll always remember your smile, distinct laugh, fashionably dressed, sharp and brightness that filled our lives with positive vibes. You will be missed and your light will forever shine. Praying for your beautiful daughter Annalise that she will carry a great strength to move forward in her life in knowing that your spirit and love surrounds her always. Rest in peace and comfort.

  20. candle 3Thank you for always inspiring me with such humility and warmth. You always knew the right things to say to get me through the toughest of times and the lessons I learned from you in both work and life will never be forgotten. You were always the life of the party and that energy will always be remembered. You are going to be so dearly missed Reggie..

  21. candle 7You always took the time to listen and spread kindness. You had a way of turning a bad day around with words of wisdom and perfectly timed jokes. I will miss your jokes, especially the random Hamilton references, and your laughter. You certainly lit up a room (IRL or Zoom) when you were around and you will truly be missed.

  22. candle 5Regi,
    You will always shine bright.
You were always professional and honest!
    My condolences to your family.
    Eve

  23. candle 1Reggie – You’ve been with me since day one and I know I couldn’t have done it without you. In the early days as I was learning the ropes, you were like a coach and cheerleader which was so valuable to me. And traveling with you to conferences was the best – so much fun!! I miss you very much. I wish you peace.

  24. candle 5Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear 💜

Reggie, 18 years we worked together! I so miss your thoughts, your laugh, your mischievous smile and your wonderful heart and our friendship! RIP Reggie. You will always be near. Sheri

  25. Reggie… you will be so missed. Your laugh, your sense of humor, your willingness to answer all of my emails. Thank you Reggie for being such a great colleague and friend. My heart goes out to your family.

  26. Reggie, thank you for showing us generosity as a neighbor.
For giving so much and asking for nothing in return. I had to force you to let me take you to the airport… it was hard for you to let others take care of you. Thank you for letting me be there for you and for being there for John Henry and I when we needed you. Thank you for being our best friend, most amazing neighbor, and for doing you…

    Love you,
    -Amie

  27. Reggie may your soul and spirit be welcomed by the angels of heaven.
For you gave us many smiles & joy know that God has now.
    RIP my friend!

  28. candle 6Reggie, you had a masterful method of bestowing knowledge and guidance without actually telling someone what to do. Your laughter and smile will truly be missed. What an amazing family and team you have. I’m blessed to be a small part of that.

  29. candle 4Several years ago I walked into your office for an interview in one of the most difficult and vulnerable times of my life. You saw something in me and gave me a chance, and sent my life in a completely new and hopeful path. This is the memory of you that remains, everything else is trivial. Rest in power, Reggie.

  30. candle 7Rodney Harrison/co-worker & friend:
    My condolences & prayers to
    the family of Reginald Glynn.
    On a professional and personal
level, Reggie was the “eternal optimist”. He always reflected the
    positive side of any situation.
I believe that was his gift to all who
have known him. “Find the good and shine the light on it”.
    Rest in peace my brother🙏🏾

  31. candle 7I miss you my friend. You have always been such an inspiration to everyone you touched. I cannot believe you are gone but I am sure you are smiling down on all of us from above. You were truly a gift to many of us, especially me.

  32. candle 1Dear Reggie,

Your presence is going to be missed by your entire UCLA family… To me, you were always the face of UCLA Health – kind of like a brand ambassador. More importantly, you were always a super kind, super generous and super caring friend. You filled any room with so much light, energy and happiness, and you had a smile that could even be seen through a telephone. You always had answers, you always listened and you always knew how to make me feel better. You always made the impossible happen. You touched so many lives, which means that your spirit and memory will live on forever. So long my friend till we meet again. May you rest in peace.

    -Narine

  33. candle 8My husband Rich and I met Reggie on the Beyond Yoga Retreat this past February in Mexico. He was a beautiful man with great warmth, good humor, and a ready smile. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

  34. Dear Reggie, it truly saddened my heart to hear of your passing. I met you in 2007 as a new graduate nurse and you were as excited as me for my interviews. You were so warm, helpful, and welcoming! I feel I have so much to be thankful for because of you. Although, our interactions were minimal, I have never forgotten your kindness and giving spirit.

You will always be remembered, Reggie

  35. candle 1I refuse to accept the fact that you’re gone. Your sense of humor was so contagious! I remember the last time I saw you – I was riding my bike along the bike path … you passed me-shouting out my name as we passed each other, in that only voice that people who know you would recognize! I still laugh at that chance encounter! Thank you for everything Reggie. You are missed.

  36. candle 7It’s taken me awhile to think of what I wanted to say, my dear friend. I’ve known you since the first day you started at UCLA HR. We were fast friends; we shared hardships and triumphs, and so many secrets. You were so thrilled to be a Dad, and your love for your daughter was immeasurable. Peace be with you, Reggie. I’m already missing you.

  37. candle 4The news of your loss was heartbreaking. You probably never knew how you could brighten anyone’s day – just by being you. You were one of those rare people that made everyone around you feel comfortable. Maybe it was too easy to go to you for help, even long after I changed departments, because you never said, “no,” but mostly because I knew I would feel a little bit happier by just having those small communications with you now and then. Rest in peace, Reggie. You have earned it.

  38. candle 7Dear Reggie: I was so saddened to hear of your passing recently and offer my condolences to your beautiful daughter and family. Rest in heavenly peace…
