TAYLOR, REBECCA (RENA) Rena passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 29, 2008 with her loving friends at her side. Rena was born April 1923 in Ayrshire, Scotland. She was a long time resident of Manhattan Beach and member of American Martyrs Church. In recent years Rena was very actively involved with the Manhattan Beach Senior Groups. She led a full life, loved socializing, bowling, needlework, Scottish Country dancing and traveling to many foreign lands with her husband Norman. She had an abundance of great friends and was dearly loved by her extended family members. Rena is survived by her sisters Marion Malcolm of Scotland and Annie Yearwood of Belleville, Canada, Nephew Jim Mair of Torrance and his sons James of Colorado and John of Bishop, California, plus many Nieces and Nephews in Scotland, England, Canada and America. She was also a special person to Diane Dalton of Yorkshire, England. Rena is preceded in death by her husband Norman, brothers Dick, Bill, John and Jimmy, and sisters Jenny and Betty. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Mass is scheduled at American Martyrs Church, 624 15th Street, Manhattan Beach, at 11:30am on Monday, June 2nd. Inurnment services private.
