Flynn, Ray ''Mike'' a 50 year resident of Torrance passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2001 in Torrance. Born in Burlington, Iowa, Ray was 77. Ray had served in the Navy during W.W. II. He had worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years and had been the General Manager of Hovey-Dallas Chevrolet for over 30 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Flynn of Torrance; son Michael Flynn of Torrance; daughters Erin (John) Honeycombe of Torrance, Patricia (James) Glover of Torrance and Rae Keron (James) Lazar of Newport, RI; granddaughters Samantha Ponce and Brooke Glover; along with grandsons Scott Underhill, Ryan Lazar, David Lazar, Anthony Lazar, Sean Flynn, Kyle Flynn and Austin Flynn.
Dear Brooke, I\’m sure this comes as a surprise to hear from me after losing touch years ago. However, I read about the passing of your grandfather and I wanted to send my deepest condolences to you and your family. -Katie Chavira
