Randolph (Randy) Malcolm Stacy
Father, Grandfather, Friend.
Born October 30th 1954, passed away July 8th 2004, at the age of 49. Randy attended Mira Costa High School where he developed a love for cars and motorcycles. He worked for several different auto repair facilities before settling at Independent Repair where he worked for the past 25 years. Randy became very adept at all aspects of computers and was actively involved with developing web sites for various community organizations. His dedication to the community led him to join the Redondo Beach Fire Dept. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) where he was recently elected President of the Alumni Association. A South Bay resident for 47 years, he loved the beach, fishing and listening to The Doors. He is survived by his daughter Melissa, grandson Ryan, fiance Julie, brothers Lee, Glenn, Guy, sister Dawn Gamble, ex-wife Renee, a niece, numerous nephews and countless friends. Randy was known to all for his honesty, integrity, and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. We live, we die and death not ends it. Break on Through My Friend. Visitation will be Sunday the 18th from 1:30-5PM. White & Day Mortuary, 901 Torrance Blvd. Burial at sea will be on Sunday the 25th. Join us in honoring him aboard the Ocean Racer at 11:30 for a 12:00 departure out of King Harbor.
