  1. I am so sad to hear of your loss, many prayers to you all. He was the best Santa God could ever have blessed us all with.

  2. Grandpa, you will definitely be missed by all. As I talk to friends and family that come to pay their respects I see that everyone had a story on how you impacted or changed their life’s from hunting buddies, fishing buddies, camping buddies or just being their Santa Claus every December. I feel blessed to have had you for my Grandpa.I Love You and well miss you very much. But like you say be strong and don’t be a “Pendeja” LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU VERY MUCH. Your Hippo Gina

  3. Great Grandpa, We have had some great runs before. All thought u piss many people off . I have felt like you are my best friend , and well still be. Its hard for me to know that i am no longer going to be called “fat head.” But in my heart i know in heaven you are calling me that. Grandpa, i will never forget what u said to me, when we were at my grandmother’s house ” Meha i want to live until i am 101 years old!” That will always stay with me. Please point me in the rite direction. Love, Breanna AKA Fat Head

  4. Two memories I like to share. One, Uncle Ralph taught me and my brother Cesar how to tie knots on fishing hooks, And two, I have never heard any man talk to my dad like Uncle Ralph can and get away with it. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Uncle Ralph. I’ll miss you.

  5. “PAPA” You will always be in our hearts and we will miss every day of our lives and our lives will never be the same. At every family gathering we will remember how you made us laugh with your silly actions. Mama saw your pain and came for you. Your in the lords loving arms now and you’ll always be with us in our HEARTS FOREVER.

  6. Dear Family, We are so sorry about the passing of Mr. Fernandez. What a blessing to have him in our lives. I will never forget him and will definitely remember him every Christmas to come. He brought me so much joy as a little girl, as I know he did to so many others. I remember hearing his big knock and ho ho ho€™s, his suit jingling and singing Christmas carols with him. It takes a special man to give his time to bring children joy and that he was, a special man. May God comfort you in this difficult time, knowing he is with the Lord and his loved ones. Mr. Fernandez, I will miss you. Thank you for being part of my life and giving me such great childhood memories. I am so glad you were able to meet our Sofia. You will not be forgotten. We love you.

  7. €œThe Legend of Uncle Ralph€, We all have a €œHero€ in our life time; Uncle Ralph, you were my €œHero€. You were also my €œGod Father€ (Nino). You were the €œJohn Wayne€ in our family. You may not know it, – but I bragged about you every time anyone asked about you. You were a great teacher. You taught me all I know about: survival, camping, hunting, since I was 10 years old, – but most of all about keeping my €œHead High with Respect and Dignity€. These are Ideals that I instill in the minds of my children and grandchildren to this day. We€™ll miss you Uncle Ralph, but some things I€™ll never forget: € The way your eye€™s beaded up when you told us a story of the €œBig Buck€ that got away. € You almost shot a dog for getting too close to your €œSteak€ on a hunting trip! € Showing me how to drink €œTequila€ properly when I was only 14 years old! € Buying you €œSad Sack€ comic books when I was a kid every chance I could get. € Menudo over your house with Aunt Lupe. € Playing €œSanta Claus€ on Christmas day, but €œmilk€ was not your favorite drink. Your probably thinking right now, €œWhat€™s everybody crying about,Dam it”! Well it€™s because were all going to miss you very much in our lives, especially me. We were all very lucky that God gave us Aunt Lupe and Uncle Ralph in our life time. The only thing I regret is that I did not have the opportunity to say €œGoodbye€ and €œThank You€ for all your teachings. The Good Lord has another €œGreat Soldier€ on guard at his gates. Goodbye Uncle Ralph,

  8. My Great Grandpa Ralph was a man which impacted many people. His unique personality and charisma is that, which will stay with us. Many had felt as if he would live on forever, though I feel his life continues on through our recollections of him. Although my moments with Grandpa Ralph were limited; I will never forget the summer I spent with him: going to the pier every Thursday for lunch with my Aunt Lulu. I am content with your passing. Now you need to watch your etiquette, because Great Grandma will certainly not accept bad behavior. Love You Your Fathead/?/Whatever your name is (Andrew Mosher)

  13. My great grandfather was a prankster. Like the time he dunked my head into my birthday cake when I was a little boy. I use to get mad all the time but when I look at it now it’s funny. It made me realize life is too short to be angry. As I became older I started to cherish the moments that I had with my Great Grandpa even through he was a pain in the butt. He was still my Grandpa and we all loved him very much.I Love You and I hope you reunite with Great Grandma and help guide us in the right direction. Love you, from your pinche Grandson Izzy.

  14. My Dad taught me everything I know like, outdoors, fixing cars, and how to fish. He would take my sister lulu and I to pick up his check and than to McDonald’s to eat. Dad took us two girls to the firing range to shoot his rifles. He taught us to eat everything that he had hunted, when I was a child he was our Santa every Christmas and we would party on New Years. We would go dirt bike riding. I know you were going with mom that day and I’ll miss you very much.it’s okay dad to go because your in alot better place your in paradise together with mom and guy. I LOVE YOU DEARLY. Good bye for now til I see you again your daugther Rachel Fernandez

  15. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with you. May God be with you all to help get you through this difficult time. Sincerely Pat,Mona & family

  16. We have very “STRONG” memories of Uncle Ralph…. As children at Grandma Frances Hernandez’s house in Redondo Beach Uncle Ralph would come looking for the Children in the House when he would visit. He would say that he was looking to “BUST SOME BUTT” and we would all run and hide… On of the Hernandez cousins made Grandma Frances upset and Uncle Ralph spanked that person on the “BUTT” so hard that they got lifted of the ground! Uncle, the Lord has came to lift you and take you home with Him and the rest of your loved ones that have went before you… We will miss you and always remember the moments we shared together…. Emily, Michael & Mona

  17. Dear Grandpa, We ALL MISS YOU , but as long as you are in the HEAVENS you are protected by the LORD. By the time we saw you laying there first were tears but the tears were Happiness of you not being in pain anymore. We LOVE YOU and you should know that. I just wish there will be a time you would not be in pain and never had passed so we would have the BEST time ever. WE MISS YOU LOVE FROM EVERYONE

  18. I would like to give my condolences to my Nina Lulu & the rest of the family. I wish we would have known, I would have liked to pay my last respects to Papa Ralph. We love Papa Ralph and we’ll cherish the tons of wonderful memories we have of him. Love, Suzie and Maria Gonzalez

  19. Dear Fernandez Family, May God be with you all to help get you through this difficult time. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with you. Sincerely your cousin, Lena

  20. I don’t know if any of you remember me, but my dad did your family’s taxes then he past that along to me. Your brother Ralph was one of my best friends and of course my hair dresser.
