Ralph
Ralph G. Eredia, "Ralphie", a 30-year resident of the South Bay area passed away at the age of 56 on Friday, April 30, 2010 in Torrance, California. He was born in San Pedro, went to school in the Torrance and Carson area and graduated from Carson High School in the class of 1971. Most of his adult life he lived in Park City, Utah. With an infectious smile and big heart, Ralphie (Raul as he was known in Park City) loved people and the outdoors. He was a surfer, skier, sailor, basketball and softball player, a craftsman and a camper. He will truly be missed. Ralphie is survived by his parents, Ralph and Olga Eredia of Carson, California; son, Donald Eredia of Henderson, Nevada; brother, Julian (Sharon) Almaraz of Mooresville, North Carolina and sisters Teri (Evan) McArthur of Medford, Oregon; Armida (Randy) Sharp of Long Beach, California; and Michelle Johnson of Carson, California. A Memorial Service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 2:00 pm, followed by a Reception in the Lighthouse Room.

Ralphie i remember growing up and you use to babysit me taking me to the beach while you and your friends were surfing…good times….and seeing you threw the years at family functions was always a breath of fresh air….This last year and a half we really got closer….You will be very missed and i love you very much..Your baby sister Michelle….P.S.   13. I just remember another great memorie of cousin Ralphie. When my dad (Charlie) use to take me to grandma’s house in wilmington cousin Ralphie would be there eating peanut butter and tortilla, and he would allways say that we were the only kids who would eat peanut butter with tortilla instead of bread. I remeber going with u to beach n always riding around till we couldnt deal with pain anymore .You always use to make me laugh with ur crazy remarks n alway s messing with me. It was great having you around while it last you were a great tio n ill always love you tio ralphie.

If any family still looks at this please find me on Facebook and let’s talk. I wish I got to know my dad. I read all the stories here and sounds like he was a great guy.
