He migrated to the United States in 1975 in search of a better future for his family. His family was always his number one priority: He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a great friend. Rafael always looked forward to our Wednesday night gatherings where he would spoil us and cook our favorite foods. As the “CHEF” of the family some of the favorite dishes were Pozole, Menudo and his famous Birria. Rafael was always happy and smiling specially during the Dodger games and he loved and enjoyed taking care of his garden.
