Platt (Bud) B. Weller
Platt Weller was born June 30, 1914, in an area known as Molson, Washington. Molson is located in northern Washington State just below the Canadian border. He also lived on Anderson Island which in near Seattle. He spent the war (WW2) years moving troops and military equipment around the country while working for a moving company. Bud worked in the lumber industry in Washington State as well. Bud’s wife Gertrude and his stepson Don Hacket (both deceased), moved to Hermosa Beach in the 1950’s and he has owned several apartments while living in that area. While living in this area Bud also worked as an awning cleaner in the greater Los Angeles area. He died December 16th at Little Company of Mary hospital after a very short illness. Bud is survived by his nieces Marcella Goeres, Patricia Case and nephew Wayne Paul. There are no services planned.
