Robinett, Mrs. Phyllis Ann Passed away peacefully in her home, at the age of 82, on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Phyllis was born in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 1927 and has been a resident of Palos Verdes Estates for over 50 years. After obtaining a degree in Sociology and Home Economics from the University of Arizona, Phyllis embarked upon a long successful career as wife, mother and grandmother. Phyllis was a woman of great faith. She was a long-time member of St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, as well as an active participant in various Christian and community service organizations, including various bible study groups, Las Madrecitas, the March of Dimes, and the Dorothy Brown School. In early retirement Phyllis and her husband Keith enjoyed traveling on cruises, golfing, reading, walking, and playing Bridge with friends. Later Phyllis spent much of her time cooking, reading, knitting, walking and attending church. She was an excellent cook and many of her recipes have already been passed down for generations. Phyllis will be deeply missed by hers sons John, Rick, Stephen, and Mike, their wives and nine grandchildren, and all of the Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, their families, and all of her dear friends that we also consider family.
