Pedro Maggay
Memorial services will be Wednesday for Pedro Maggay, a South Bay resident for 50 years.
Born August 17, 1926, in the Philippines, he died January 22, 2004, in Torrance.
Mr. Maggay is survived by his daughter, Terry Maggay of Redondo Beach; three step-sons, William Gillespie of San Pedro, Roger Gillespie of Redondo Beach, and Raymond Gillespie of Long Beach; two step-daughters, Mary Gillespie of San Francisco and Nancy Gillespie of Redondo Beach; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation and Rosary services will be from 6:00 p.m. at St. Philomena Church, Carson. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.
