  1. Dear Noah, Lanai, and Brandy, and Myles I will miss your Mom very much and our condolences for your loss of a wonderful Mom and loving Grandma. Pauline was like an Auntie I never had around and was always willing to listen whenever I had something to say. I will always remember her beautiful smile…It always lit up her beautiful eyes. Our love and prayers are with you and our remembrances will live in our hearts forever. All our Love and Prayers, Gina, Davey, Brooke, Daniel and Popo

  2. To the Barrera family. My heart is with you all during this time. I worked with Pauline at the Torrance Post Office. Although I didnt know her personally, I occasionally spoke to her when we saw each other. May you find strength and comfort in GOD. Bless you all.

  3. Dear Barrera Family, I can only imagine what you must be going through with a loss of this magnitude. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Pauline over the past 20 years. I don’t ever recall Pauline having anything negative to say. She was always kind and a joy to be around. Her Postal Family is truly devastated by this tragedy. She will be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  4. DEAR BRANDY, MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. YOUR MOTHER WAS AN INCREDIBLE WOMAN WHO MADE A DIFFERANCE, IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE TO HAVE KNOWN HER AGAIN WHILE WE WERE GROWING UP. SHE AT THE TIME WAS LIKE A SECOND MOM TO ME… SHE NOW HAS JOINED GOD’S KINGDOM SIDE BY SIDE WITH YOUR SISTER THYRA WATCHING OVER ALL THEY HAVE LOVED…CALL ME ANYTIME FOR ANYTHING, I LOVE YOU BRANDY:)

  5. “I can help you over here”! I can still hear Pauline say that each time I walk into the post office. She and I were truly Homies, even though we were well past our 60’s. Your Pauline was a gift to all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She had humor and grace, and a HUGE heart, with a smile to match. Where is Pauline now? In the hearts of all who loved her, including me! She is at peace now, with her beloved daughter Thyra. May the memories of these two beautiful women bring you peace, comfort and joy. Mary A. Temple P.O. Box 3356 Finally, to you Pauline…….HORA LA PUES MI AMIGA!!

  6. Brandy,Myles&Lanai, I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s like i’ve lost a grandma that i never had.But I can’t let it get the best of me.I will always have the memories of us laughing and watching movies. When I’d try to help her cook she would laugh not even knowing what she was cooking. Then one year for christmas I gave her slippers so she could have a pair to match. But I still saw her walking around the house with one slipper. She was a great person and she will not be forgotten. She may not be with us but I can still picture all the memories we had.And those will last me a lifetime. With Deep Sarrow, Nicole-Colie- P.s. Think positive, the best is yet to come.Always smile it’al help in the littest ways with you not even knowing.

  7. I am very sorry about your loss. I just heard the sad news, and wish that I would have heard in time to pay my respects at the memorial service. It’s been many years now, but I knew Pauline very well at the time. She was very hospitable and I remember her welcoming me into her home to “hang out” all the time back in my younger days. I’ll always remember that and pray that she is at peace now and that her family and friends can find a way to smile thinking about the person she was in spite of the challenge of missing her so much. Sincerely, Guy

  8. Brandy, At times like this we cant’t help remembering how fragile life is…It seems like it wasn’t long ago that we were at your house listening to Bob and hangin out by the pool with your mom,Lanai, and Thyra. I miss those days as I will never forget the memories that we shared. Your mom always made me feel welcome and Thyra was always fun to hang out with. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. May you find strengh in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. I truly believe Pauline and Thyra are now sitting on a throne of gold. My deepest sympathy
